Travel Insurance Over 65
Seniors Travel: Cover Available up to 85 years of age !
You’ve heard the term ‘grey nomad’, and if you are one you can probably relate to blogs like this one, discussing the trend for travel after retirement. Travel Blog: Age shall not weary them .....
If you’re over 65 and looking to take a local or overseas journey, we applaud you, and wish you well. (Can I come please ? please ?)
As a retiree, you’ve earned the time to relax, and you don’t need any worries or hassles. So you should look at travel insurance for over 65s and find a policy that can take the worries away (and not take you to the cleaners on price!)

Many insurers start to apply age loadings from travellers as young as 50 years. At Worldcare, our mission is to simplify travel insurance and offer the best possible cover at the best possible prices.
Although the statistical cost of claims requires us to charge age loadings, we do not start loadings until 71 years of age.. Any person up to (and including) the age of 70 years, can take our policy and pay fixed prices. NO AGE LOADINGS.
Our policy is quite friendly to age or pre-existing medical conditions, but you should read the complete Product Disclosure Statement and decide whether we fit your requirements.
A good travel insurance policy covers you for overseas medical emergencies (including evacuation back home), your luggage, cancellation, and a range of other general benefits such as liability, disability, rental car excess waivers.
If you are a senior traveller, insurance can hit you for age loadings. If you check the more common policies on the market, you may find a cheap up-front quote, only to get slogged a few steps later when they find out you are over 50 years old.
